CeCe is one of the ten very talented and very successful Winans children.  Her singing career started with her brother BeBe.  The two were selected to be on a television show called ‘The PTL’ or ‘Praise the Lord’. They performed as backgro0und vocalists for five years. 

Singing is not all CeCe does.  She is a songwriter, actress, Talk Show Host, Speaker and Author of two books.  She even started her own record label ‘PureSprings Gospel’.  During her career, CeCe has won 9 Grammy Awards, 21 Grammy Nominations, 19 Dove Awards and many Stellar Awards.

In 2005, CeCe developed and hosted a conference ‘Always Sisters’ for young women 13-26 years old.  The theme and focus was on support.  To the 800 ladies who attended, CeCe said, “My prayer was that they know God and know who they are,” she declares. “He is the only one that can really teach you who you are, how beautiful you are, how powerful you are, that you deserve the best, and not to settle for less.”

So what has CeCe done lately?  She released a solo album in September.  She and BeBe have an album release in early 2008.  She is also developing a clothing and jewelry line for teens.

Her message to everyone is “It’s so important to trust God with your life and learn to thank him for every door that opens and every door that closes.”
